From Coast to Desert CODE: TWD – 01

9 AM your guide will come and pick you up at your hotel and take you for an incredible journey. Start the tour by going towards Bimah sinkhole, a spectacular limestone crater.  Continue to Wadi Shab, enjoy a walk through the wadi. Going up the wadi you will soon see pools appearing before you and you may enjoy a refreshing swim in those pools. Come back to the car and enter Wadi Tiwi with its green pools and lush plantations.

Your next stop will be in Sur, a town famous for its trading and still now famous for its Dhow Building Yard.

Arrive at destination. Relax before dinner and after go for turtle watching. The turtles come to lay their eggs at night and this experience is a memorable one.

Entry fees to Turtle Reserve not included.

Night at Turtle Beach Resort

Follow the scenic rocky coastline, to see the old Mosque in Jallan Bani Bu Ali. Continue to Wadi Bani Khalid, one of the most picturesque wadis in Oman. Arrive in Wahiba sands, with its golden sand dunes for some dune bashing.

Return to Muscat.
